Along comes Friday and 3 sign for us, 1 being permanent. DA certainly knows how to surprise us. I'm sure they all do well, given time. They admitted they’d made mistakes in the summer announcing we had some cash so were hardly like to do it again. And if you looked at our squad with only three strikers and three centre backs, it clearly had gaps in that I’m sure Hurst would have liked to have filled ideally. I bet this won’t be the last of the business. Anyway, a friend of mine who’s a season ticket holder at Coventry says Obikwu is impressive in cameos and they’re doing well in the Championship so that’s exciting.

Business done early again, although the summer early business hasn’t delivered a league position that we’d hoped it has to be better than scrabbling around on the last day like last Jan.

Guest User	Quoted from LocalLadGTFC Doug Tharme on a permanent is an unbelievable bit of business, watched him play for Blackpool this season and he was very very good. Some mixed references to him on the Blackpool forum.  Some mention of him being a bit slow, and another saying he would not fit in with their passing style of play!  But the main consensus is that he is not League One quality but could be ok in League Two.
