On the 28th May 2022, we played a fancied side whose promotion jubilations were already prepared. Then unfortunately the underdogs scored again and again and again and again and again. This was not the script Netfix put out but the 5 - 4 thrashing on their own turf made them play another season in the NL.

Whatever Wrexham do they had better not underestimate a Town side, nor the away support they will bring.

certainly not our strongest area!

Roll out the Anfield Tactical Plan then - play 2 left backs…worked on the night, although needed extra time to finally overcome the plucky opposition tbf.

Right mate, you reeled off the names of 7 players, plus Mullin, who you described as “shíthouses”. 8 in total. 8 out of a potential starting 11 constitutes a “squad full” to my mind. It’s certainly an above average number, isn’t it?

Of those 8 players, I’d argue most of them could be described as “journeymen”, but if you’re not happy with that, let’s go with “mercenaries” instead. I think we can all agree that that’s an indisputable description; they sure as shít ain’t moving to north Wales for the rarebit, are they?

So there we go then - “Wrexham have a squad full of shíthouse mercenaries”, or “Wrexham have a squad full of mercenary shíthouses”.

Which one do you want to sign off on?

Funny. I can't take you seriously after this post. I haven't got the mental energy to keep correcting you. Enjoy the game on Saturday mate.

Lazy. You sound like the physical manifestation of your club’s transfer policy.

I for one enjoyed wxm80s original post. Honest, well meaning appraisal.

We may not see eye to eye with supporters of other clubs and healthy banter is a good thing.

Marinerjase I agree with your views and assessments.

Although “any score possible” could never realistically be 4-5 could it? 🤫😃

Wrexham have very little control over how, and how frequently, the media portray them (bar Netflix).

After 16 years in the wilderness, I am sure many Wrexham fans would have welcomed a few years in NL obscurity and then “no fuss” years in the EFL.  No belles, whistles, excess mania and without the media circus.

I have a lot of time for the hardcore Wrexham fans who who came to BP for a night game about 10 years ago.  We won 1-0 in a good game with a well-taken Ross Hannah goal late on. (From memory anyway).

Think it was more convincing than 1-0 if memory serves me right, Hannah finished his goal very well though.

It was 1-0 (goal at 6:50). Sent us top at the time.

Sorry to take us off topic, but anyone know what the away pubs will be for Saturday? Imagine most of those near the ground will be home fans only
