I consider our (Humber and Lincolnshire) rivals to be Hull, Scunthorpe, Lincoln, Gainsborough & Boston
Rivalries exist only through location or achievement

Not sure it was helped by how disliked he was from some sections of our fanbase. Many had fair enough reasons: he often didn't endear himself to supporters. But others did come across as entitled ("we are grimsby we shouldn't be drawing against [insert team here], we used to be in the championship, our natural home is at least league 1, never mind the last 5 years that's irrelevant we should be top of this division through historic precedent!")

The flyover after the first semi final leg was one of the most embarrassing moments of being a town fan. Obvs we went on to get promoted... sheer pig-headedness.

I agree, little Boston bless em' .... it almost felt like bullying a younger much smaller cousin, playing them didn't it?

Mind you their new ground is taking shape quite nicely, and looks far better than York City's seat abomination effort.

Just because a team shares a geographical region doesn't make them rivals. Hartlepool are not rivals to Sunderland and Newcastle.

No. Gainsborough are not our rivals just because we've played pre season friendlies against them and they are from the same region. By that score our bìggest rivals are cleethorpes town then as they play in the same town - but u missed them out altogether funnily enough.
