After what seems like an age English football is back Live on TV, just thought I would start a thread to discuss the games if anyone is interested.

I haven't got SKY so just started listening to Villa v Sheff Utd on 5 Live Sport.

Arsenal could do Liverpool a favour later with a win at Man City.

League Two play-offs tomorrow night.


I wouldn't say I was the best manager in the business. But I was in the top one.

Stuck a bet on Arsenal to beat City later. 15-2 odds seemed very generous given the potential for unpredictability after the season pause and Bundesliga matches suggesting being at home isn't the advantage it once was.

Expect a City 4-0 win now.

Saying stuff like the goal line tech is working for the second half doesn’t do much to persuade me that Michael Oliver didn’t have his watch turned on. Being the difference between clubs qualifying for Europe or not was the very reason the technology has been brought in and it could have backfired spectacularly for Sheff Utd.

The annoying thing is that after the game nobody in authority will say what exactly went wrong with the technology.

Can someone please explain the social distancing rules to the Sheff Utd manager, Wilder, at the end there he is shaking hands with all the officials.
