It's closer to his Birmingham home and the weight of expectation won't be there like it was with us. He used to drive me mad with his team line-ups and (seemingly non-existent) tactics, but despite the defeats we also got a few wins and some decent players from him. Given a bit more time, who knows where we would've been this season? We could be 'doing a Shrewsbury' but equally we could be where Forest Green are. It was completely up in the air, based on how he was going about his business, and I guess that uncertainty (and a lack of patience) cost him his job with us. "Don't shine that light in my face, mate - I've just lost a pint of blood."
