Good luck to him.

Possibly the only one that think he was onto something

Is that ON  or  ONTO.    P.S.  I think Fenty did the dirty on him just so he could get his mate in

Nothing unusual there. Fenty uses Bignot's transfer window dealings as a reason/excuse to get rid of him and then lets Slade do the same thing.

Good luck to the bloke.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

reunited with Yussuf. He'll probably do alright with a bit of dollar to spend. Maybe we could give him Summerfield as a welcome present?

MB sent Summerfield out on loan because he thought he wasn't good enough so I doubt he would take him on now.
As for having a bit of a "dollar to spend" I don't think he actually spent a lot apart from Osborne and Jones (  potentially good buys ) and Asante ( one for the future ). Unfortunately as soon as signings are mentioned , as regards to MB , then fans bang on about Gunning and he wasn't even given a long term contract !

Bignot should have at least been given to the end of last season, also I think we would have won more games than we lost. It would have been quite a roller coaster ride, never boring but sometimes anxious.

Good luck to the guy the board should have been clearer in what they wanted with him, if they had I think it would have been very different.

Sounds as if Bignot is going to be Assistant to Mickey Moore!

Bignot appointed as back room staff to help interim manager Micky Moore

I imagine in the forseeable future Marcus Bignot will be appointed manager with Micky Moore back as assistant.
