I didn't expect a seat on the board for my £30, although some have got on the board for not much more. I would have liked it to have been spent on Promotion (clue is in the name) rather than perpetrating a run in the Trophy though.

Well apparently, it's all been spent on some new clothes for my Nan , and Goldfish for Dave Moore. 😉


The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

I'm fairly sure that the club have been and still are trying to achieve promotion. If you thought your £30 guaranteed something in return then the only fool is you.

I think we might have raised a few bob more if it had been called Operation Guaranteed Promotion.

Maybe it should have been put in as benign loans from the trust. The money loaned to club by directors is like a lead bouyancy aid.
