I think with the club making huge losses, the loaning of players is merely a cost cutting excercise, considering we have no reserve side we do have a big squad and if we can save wages for a few players not regularly in the side and get them some match practice as well - even if it is only for a couple of months, it makes financial sense.

This is another example that our two Sunday league managers haven’t got a clue what they are doing and proves to me they don’t like’ footballers’ . The soon they go the better, they are Clowns

| In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD |

Oh really what about Disley, Hearn, Artus, Townsend? Do you know what goes on behind the scenes? the clubs circumstances, the players circumstances? My Circumstances? I bet you don't even know your circumstances.

Haha who's to say he wants first team footy or regular footy and H&S were maybe forced. Like I said earlier theres numerous reason and tbh You can't expect the managers to wait for the fringe players to turn up if you get a chance in the team you have to take it and clearly they havent done it.

Fringe player who is clever and skilful but painfully slow . Cannot play as a true winger because of this and can't fit into a fancy formation as this league doesn't allow teams to play them basically . Don't think well miss him and don't ever see him being an influential player in a successful team . Far better to get rid and use his wages for a decent centre mid

I think Eagle is a decent player on his day but for me he always has one eye on the other player thinking he is going to get hurt ......He never tries to beat a player and his corners and crossing need to improve .........He always seems to be on the lash as well i was told he just got done for drink driving..........(Allegedly)

Hope Green can get fit and stay fit and play left midfield.
I would guess that's the reason with Green here and Townsend extending his stay ? (great news) Rightly or wrongly, Eagle seems to have been down the pecking order all season compared to Makofo. Tommy your comment about Makofo and his goals etc... See what you're saying and maybe you're right but you can't say S&H have picked Makofo and it's backfired can you ? I was in favour of Eagle starting myself, but now (despite Makofo's poor performances) I'm wondering if the managers were proved right in their selection (not that Eagle was proved wrong cos he never played...) tbh I really don't know. I'm just guessing with 4 left sided players someone had to go on loan and it was always gonna be Eagle. Question - as long as Makofo keeps banging the goals in, is it gonna be tricky for S&H to drop him regardless of how he plays ? Personally I wouldn't ever rule it out, but it's not an easy one to justify given the bare facts.
