Agree with this.

I know people will point to Makofo's goals in recent games, but.....

a) who's to say Eagle wouldn't have scored if playing in his place. He is a good finisher,
b) the strikers would be provided with more chances because Eagle gets his head up and looks for a pass,
c) defenders may not have to hoof possession away into the channels because Eagle is always moving making an angle to recieve the ball to feet.

Hope Green can get fit and stay fit and play left midfield.

Ok, he's not quite taken his chances but it seems odd that Eagle is turfed out suggesting that he is not up to the standards of others. If Eagle is not a good enough footballer, I suggest we get rid of all but Coulson, Disley  and Hearn.

Eagle brings very little to our game at this level as and I say as an out and out wide player. He can pass n drift inside where he contributes but offers us very little as a winger !!

I'm not Eagles biggest fan but he has got to be better than Makofo. These managers have never really given him a chance. They can't use the same excuse as they did when farming Church out to Alfreton, as Eagle played the majority of last season. For a couple who say they don't have favourites they have a funny way of showing it. I presume Garner will be next, after all he can play a little bit and we don't need that when we have Kempson and Pearson.

I also think people have an idea that Green would make a big difference on the left based on absolutely nothing.

It's a mixed bag really and many different versions as to why the players are being loan out i.e. Maybe he wants to be playing regular footy and has requested to be loaned out, or is it to get them game time due to a non existant reserves, or is it to free up places so that they can draft in other players as him and church are not quite up to the standard cos at the end of the day it's the managers arses on the line and they may try some loanees.  

I know he didn't get long last night, but he was poor the few minutes he was on. He's not fast enough to be a true wide player and he drifts in too much, picked up a silly booking too

Strange decision for me, if Green takes his place behind 1st choice Serge it may work but then again theres no evidence that it will, Eagle for me is a player that requires regular games like last season to show his potential, and this is where having no reserve team games shows, Spencer will be next I guess so why can`t we work better with what we`ve got rather than playing swap with loan players

Sadly Eagle's face doesn't fit. I think that's obvious. Disappointing for the fans who like him as a player though. He got 9 goals from the wing last season, which was the same as Coulson.

He's probably one of very few players left that hasn't really been given a fair crack of the whip to impress Scott and Hurst. Given that these two managers were the ones that put both Duffy and Makofo on the transfer list, only to take them off again, proves that they're not exactly the best judges of characters.

Not so long ago we had most of Scott and Hurst's summer signings on the bench and most of Woods' signings in the starting XI. That says a fair bit to me.

Obviously they've brought some good players in like Hearn, and given young players like Thanoj and I'Anson chances, which is encouraging, so it's a bit of a mixed bag for me so far. If they'd give Eagle half as many chances as they've given Makofo then we might not be having this discussion right now.

If we could mould Serge and Eagle together, we'd have a decent player
