Agreed.

He has a footballing brain but his movement is too slow to capitalise on it.

As Ticker says,hasn't the pace to beat a man and can't cross a ball if he did.Think this is paving the way for his departure IMO.Green is a lot more mobile and i think one of our problem areas,namely the left side,is looking better with Townsend and Green.

My abiding memory of him will be countless p1ss poor corners that never cleared the first man.

I'm surprised at this one as it isn't like we've got a huge amount of wingers to choose from. Eagle has got flaws to his game but he's a clever player.

When I have seen Eagle he has offered little imo.

Poor crossing, not quick and fannys around on the ball.

We haven't had a winger who can cross for ages. We was spoilt with Gilbert, Donovan and childs.

We need to real wingers who will use the width and can put good varied crosses for our strikers

wont be missed imo,always puts the effort in but thats about it..

he must take one of the worst freekicks and corners i have ever seen,his corners might beat the 1st man on his good day.

Not that people constantly barracking him helps, I don't think Eagle has quite found the form he showed early on last season (as a previous poster highlighted) and therefore a loan is a good move.

Thought Eagle did v. well for most of last season, although i agre about how poor most of his dead ball delivery was.

BUT.......
would be interested to know how many Eagle scored last season and how many assists did he get? now compare with Makofo's stats. are they much different?
