I used to frequent some of Roly's pubs and still have all the old videos and dvds. If I remember correctly John and the rest of the guys joined Roly in the early 80's as the commentary on quite a few of the highlights videos and dvds had Roly and John commentating together.

I expect many late goals for us this season. The impact of quality subs, more pace and great fitness could be what breaks teams down in the last 20 minutes. You can please some of the forumites some of the time but not all the forumites all of the time

Table Wine Drinker Posts: 679 Posts Per Day: 1.03 Reputation: 81.19% Rep Score: +5 / -1 Approval: +1,191 Gold Stars: 39	Regardless of the pre-seasonness of the game, to only lose 2-1 over 120 mins to a championship team is a great result, especially considering the step up in quality from playing clee and borough just beforehand to a tier 2 team.  General consensus is we've improved the squad, and bearing in mind we were only a few goals away from being much higher than 11th last season the future is bright.  In El General we trust!
