It's been suggested that Bojo likes incompetent, underhand ministers around him, because it forms a sort of human shield around his own failings.

A sort of boys club of skullduggery that takes the spotlight off his own twattery.

Boris will do what he did with Cummings back him.

Then when there is a public outcry sack him.

Then in his eyes he has been loyal to his staff but had to get rid so the public can say at least he did the right thing in the end.

We are not daft Boris has no morals and will do and say anything if it puts him in a good light ( in his eyes ) with the voters.

Two corrections Pete.

1/ Bozza got rid of Cummings when his wife stamped her feet, not because of a public outcry.

2/ People are daft. They voted for him despite his track record of lying. I’m still waiting for him to lay down in front of the bulldozers at Heathrow. He promised that to the voters of Uxbridge (the gullible twits). And he told the nation there would be no border between NI and GB, yet signed up to just that. He lost his job at the Times (hardly a leftwing rag) because he was caught out telling deliberate porkies in an article.

Max Hastings, again no pinko member of the “woke brigade” wrote, "There is room for debate about whether he is a scoundrel or mere rogue, but not much about his moral bankruptcy, rooted in a contempt for truth,"

Yet still people vote for him. And you say ‘we are not daft’. Folk must be crooned themselves then.
