Ordered my ST by phone yesterday morning. It arrived here in Sheffield by 10.00 am today!

Got my 20% off for buying one last year and pleased to be offered my old season 19/20 seat. For Mariners Trust members it helps if you have your membership number handy. All done in one 5 min phone call.

No more ripping tickets from a book and some money off goodies to spend in club shop, Steels, Pennels, Mcmenemy's etc. and two free pints in the new Fanzone. Made my day!

1200 done in 9 days, about 240 of those new, payday for most to come at some point in the next week or so.

Looks like good numbers to me, would be surprised if we’ve hit 1000 so early for a long time.

We haven’t had any of the traditional statements like ‘record number of tickets sold by 11AM on the fourth day of sales’. ‘Most tickets sold to left-handed people called Pete, ever’. I miss those.

The euphoria will soon fade, before season tickets are on sale, and it will miss out some of the people feeling the impulse based on momentum. Covid is still a huge spanner in the works. People will have to consider whether they'll be furloughed again come winter and spending a lot of money on a frivolous item is justified when they might not be able to even go to many matches. Plus there aren't a thousand people that were only staying away because of Fenty, if we are tearing it up then gates will be high. If we're not then any new attendees will soon get bored and go back to alternative Saturday afternoon activities.


1200 sold in 9 days and almost 250 new season ticket holders  makes it look like this poster's prediction might be as wrong as those who suggested we were going to have adecent season under Holloway

Always a highlight of pre season to me. Always completely meaningless and incomparable with previous years.

We're 9 days in and not even half way there. Sales are likely to be front loaded, so you should probably wait until I'm actually proven wrong before trying to rub my nose in it. Nothing's changed my opinion yet.
