With the increased interest in football with the Euros, could we not temp new footy fans  to our games?  Offer something as “tasters” seeing a real live game.  The quality is different but the same feelings are there.  Striking whilst the irons hot and all that.

Maybe some newcomers could end up with a life sentence watching the Mariners.

"that bitter disappointment you felt after England lost, come and feel it every Saturday at Blundell Park!"

Ad might need a bit of work but I think it's essentially got the message

Good to see all these Season Tickets being sold, but for me, with a tinge of sadness.  Because of my disabilities I am unable to attend matches anymore, and have to rely on social media or BT Sport etc. to watch my team in action.

Anyway, first match of season is live on BT Sport so will definitely watch that one.  #UTM #1878

The 50s are approximately the centre of the stand. You'll have your view of a couple of very small parts of the pitch obscured by a couple of supports but should still be able to see both goals and the corner flags so wouldn't miss much.

Decided to go for a season ticket for me and my lad.  Two questions... Does anyone know if you can check the view from seats prior to purchasing?  Can anyone recommend a good spot in the Upper Youngs that isn't obscured by railings or supports (approx row and seating area)?  Thanks in advance.

Depending on the works in progress the staff will take you to the seat so you can view. If you check the seat numbers that are available  on the ground plan via the purchase season ticket links on the official site first, see which you may fancy...choose a couple of options so you have a few possible seats in mind when you do go, that would help yourself and them.
They are replacing the barrier at the front of the upper so the view will be less obstructed lower down the stand  now anyway.

Staff were very helpful when I went . Just try and pick a quiet day midweek if possible

Rows J, K, L about seat 48 to 54 give a very good balanced view

Despair is one emotion in football.  Makes the good time more worthwhile. Any potential new fan for Town has seen England win games and progress to a final.

As an excile  who can’t/won’t attend evening fixtures I joined the 1878 club.

It’s not about what do I get from it. It’s about what can I do for the club at a sensible cost.

If we all go into this season supporting our community club, we might just get back into the football league.

I can’t fault the commitment or integrity of our new senior management team and owners.

My feelings exactly. I'm a part of the mariners Trust again and will be joining the club also. UTM
