I really don't know now. We must be the only side ever to have two different managers  build two different relegation teams in the same season. Its so frustrating, maddening and emotional watching the team we all love being in such a sorry state   In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions. Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them. GOD

Might not be a popular opinion in the aftermath of (another) defeat, but I'm fully expecting 2021/22 to be Operation Reset at GTFC, with new owners and a brand new squad. Assuming that'll be in the National League, I'd be happy for Hurst to be given the chance to rebuild.

It took 6 years of boring, turgid and most of the time crap football. No way I want that back.
