I think so too, then we can start to ask some serious questions to the 3 wise men, in terms of log term planning, the new ground, training facilities etc..

I really can’t imagine how he can refuse this offer

Presumably the only reason he can have for not selling now is that he is a control freak for whom being chairman of GTFC is his only means of acting the 'big man' in the local community now that he doesn't have five star fish or deputy leader of the council positions? If he leaves he will simply be a rich nobody and that, for someone of his ego, seems to be unbearable for him.
What i reckon will be eating him up inside is the thought of the new owners being successful and the thought that deep even in his deluded psyche he will have to admit to being an epic failure.
