If we play like that every week, we won’t lose many games. Playing one of the best teams in our division and, by their own managers opinion, being the better team, it was by and by a delight to watch after a lot of what we’ve seen for years.
Play like that and the crowds will flood back. All bar the result, really enjoyed yesterday.

Exeter are joint top now.  That shows the quality of team we were playing.

Spot on, Exeter have been in and around the top few places over the last 3 seasons I think, they are a stronger side than most gave credit.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Thought we played well, but always take such comments from a victorious manager with a pinch of salt. It is easy for him to be so magnanimous. Once they got ahead they controlled the game IMO.

Wouldn't say they controlled the game, we were pushing for an equaliser which left gaps which they used well on the break. We still had chances including that superb Clifton over head kick that was just over.

Looks like Clarke plays, passes, runs and shoots with purpose and conviction. Just what we’ve been missing IMO.

Think many of us forget the Hanson chip which was headed off the line! Not seen replays but was Tilley fouled when that low cross came over just after he came on?

Sat right in front of it, the 2 defenders sandwiched him and took him out, absolute stone wall penalty..

The ref let their players get away with niggles and pushes all game but our passing needs to be a tad sharper to give players a chance, especially with harassing opponents closing down quickly.

Several moves were halted by players having to saig for the ball or it was not in front to run onto, all slowing attacks down.

That said, 2 off the woodwork, 2 excellent saves by their keeper and a goal line clearance + no penalty award makes for not much good luck in the day. Any of those counting and the players may have pushed on with more confidence.

Using pitch width better as well - all better and this will pay off as players get to know each other better.

Onwards and upwards !!
