Two teams who are not very good and hardly looked capable of scoring. Only difference in the end is their free kick wasn't disallowed. 4th official applying the new rules only when it's to the advantage of the team that can get him Beckham's autograph.

That said, we didn't really turn up tonight. Looked completely disinterested for most of the game and failed to string any attacking moves together. Subs a bit strange really, didn't seem made to change anything.

The quality of our passing was very poor, either giving it away or just aimless balls into nowhere. Thought Max might have made a difference bring some pace to the flank but despite massive 2nd half possession we didn't really hurt them.
Beaten by a very average Salford so early optimism is evaporating

Utter crap and not for the first time in the last few games. Not sure getting the Chelsea game out the way is going to help either if I’m honest as we don’t seem to vary much. Fresh ideas needed.
