I'd take issue with the claims that visibility at night games is 'shocking' as somebody commented in this thread. No issues with visibility whatsoever as far as I'm concerned and I've never heard this claim before.

However, if the structure needs to be replaced, it needs to be replaced. No point getting worked up about it one way or the other. Same goes for the Main Stand. It's perfectly functional but won't stay that way forever. The economics of the situation mean it will stay there until we either move or it is deemed unsafe. Until then, I like the character of it, but don't sit there because I prefer the elevated view from the Findus. If we get a new ground, chances are that I'll get a poorer view of the game in comparison, but there you go.

If we had the stripes horizontal it would reflect the light better so we could pick out our strikers.I know this works as I studied "camouflage"at University in Nairobi during the "Save the Zebra" campagne

But vertical stripes have been proven to make you look slimmer, acording to the fashion world. Think what Adam Proudlock/Tony Crane would have looked like in hoops

Lads, lads. Let's not turn this into another Brexit-type debate where we all fall out. Stripes v hoops?

The obvious compromise is diagonal stripes! (White shirts with a black diagonal stripe a la Peru obviously).
