Well that's the away shirt sorted.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Nah-that's what our forwards say when they have a shot at goal

But our forwards don't have any shots at goal

I'd take issue with the claims that visibility at night games is 'shocking' as somebody commented in this thread. No issues with visibility whatsoever as far as I'm concerned and I've never heard this claim before

I have to disagree, the present floodlights seem to give off way less illumination than they did a few years ago.

Think I saw they only just meet today's minimum floodlighting requirements and you can tell....poor.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Well I have to say I'm old and I much prefer mixing with younger people. In fact I'm thinking of getting one if Mrs. Buckstown clears off.

Christ,  imagine what Fatty Matty Rhead would look like in hoops. A living Michelin Man!

After his assault on Henderson at Wembley amongst others he'd maybe look better with arrows instead of stripes/hoops

Am I the only one who isn't all gooey eyed about floodlights? Needed doing for a long time as I'm surprised the EFL haven't kicked us out due to the shocking visibility at night games. They're just floodlights.

They aren’t shocking visibility, as you suggest, at all, they meet EFL standards

You’re right, they aren’t shocking, but when you compare them with modern stadiums they aren’t very good.

The problem is is that the floodlight towers are too high, and too far back from the playing area, to use energy efficient LED lamps. These towers were designed to use a mercury vapour discharge lamp or a HQL equivalent which is more environmentally friendly, but both of which are significantly more expensive to use.
I’m assuming they’ll install LED lighting along the top of the main stand and the top of the John Smith’s stand, or whatever it’s called now.
