Most exciting period for being a fan of Grimsby Town in the last generation was when Paul Hurst was in charge.

We got S&C coach for other managers after he left and they haven't exactly set the world on fire, have they? I'm not an apologist for PH and I didn't like his stubborn approach but his 18 months at Shrewsbury were pretty remarkable.

Funny to think that in nearly 3 years since hursty left us, he could very well be back in the same league as us, some progression that is

Would be a good move for Hursty, given his teams tendency to find 4,000+ crowds a bit scary.

Nah. It'll be the Shop.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
