It was well known throughout his time at Town as the court case was a year or two before he signed?

Let’s be honest, he had literally no impact here at all and won’t be missed. I’ll admit that I didn’t get all the hoo haa when he signed and I’d never even heard of him, despite MJ saying that every football fan should know who he is!

It does seem to me as though he had a rather helpful political hamstring injury though. The club may have found out too late for the signing but not too late for the court case.
