So much can depend on the approach taking by club and police. Look at the Sharkgate shenanigans. 9 times out of ten it would have been laughed off. With such small numbers, a relatively minor difference in treatment by the police can result in disproportionate swings. I’m not for one minute condoning any hooligans or criminals.
