Commiserations PP.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Know how you feel PP I struggle with life atm, if it wasn't for having my son and just thinking about his happiness god knows where I'd be right now tbh. Almost made homeless a few times lately and to say the closest family I have is 2hrs drive away and my mum (Grimsby) is 5hrs. But for what it is worth, you just got to look at the positives. Since my nan died of cancer suddenly 2 years ago my life has gone to excrement, family moved back to Grimsby. Threatened to be kicked out several times etc. But I just look at my boy and think "he's happy. He loves his dad" and I always make sure we have great fun and make great memories. So just hold on to those positive influences in your life, sorry to hear about your friend and fellow Grimsby fan x

Nath helped out the backroom staff at Lincoln didn't he, so not a massive surprise if he is beginning to make his move towards management. Worked for Hurst -maybe Nath will be back here one day in a different capacity!

When you look at how many posters on here have said similar things, and then look at other people we know of (e.g. Nath) affected by mental health issues, it's adding up to a body of evidence that something's got to give in our society.

Luke, I feel for you son. If it weren't for my kids I'd happily drop out of the rat race. I get so much back from my kids that it's a real boost when things feel excrement. Met a mate tonight who is in a very similar place but with no kids to keep him inspired.

This is worth a read, I can’t imagine how hard times for him have been.

Sorry about this post and I have nothing against Nathan really just agents.
Bad day as I lost my best mate yesterday who sits with me at all the Town matches.
Shouldn't have posted and for what it's worth I also suffer with mental health issues

Really sorry to hear that PP, You have nothing to apologize for you are a loyal Town supporter and also a respected poster on here.

Just been discuss Nathan’s situation in pub and my mate has another story that reflects badly on the Cowleys. His lad was junior professional at Lincoln on £185 per week but loaned out to Halifax, then in the conference. He was required to travel from LINCOLN to Halifax 3 times per week which he was paying for so firstly asked Halifax for expenses who said no speak to Lincoln who also said no. Subsequently he learned Halifax were paying LINCOLN £300 per week for him to be on loan so making a profit on an 18 year old. Good old Danny Cowley.
