As we have a vacancy for a chairman, does anyone else think he would do an excellent job.

Obviously wouldn't bring any financial backing but would definitely solve the club's PR problems.

Also has some very interesting views on the new stadium

read his views on the stadium that makes sense but I understand him and Fenty are hardly best mates so a non starter even IF he had any inclination

A bit sharp? I’m sure you must have good reasons for your opinion, care to share?

Personally I hadn’t thought of Nigel and I suspect there is not a lot of common ground between him and JF but still, it’s an interesting thought and I’m open to persuasion.

I was against Nigel wearing the crown before I learned Nigel and John don't get on. In that case, I am all for the coronation of King Nigel of Grimbleby, if he ousts Angry John then I'm all for it.

Same as mine.

PP is not a good idea. Freemo is. Bollllocks to it being difficult.

I agree with him 100%. JF is still stuck on this idea of out of town developments when the world has moved on and most regeneration is about helping inner cities rebuild. As much as I'd like to see a new stadium, I think the PP idea is outmoded and either Freeman Street or the docks would make far more economic sense and also help to regenerate an area that desperately needs some TLC.
