Would take him in a heartbeat. Excellent League 2 winger. Would’ve probably been on higher wages at Portsmouth though.

The side (not the squad) needs a more athletic and pacey centre half alongside Collins, a genuine holding midfielder who can screen the back 4 and make interceptions and tackles, a midfielder who’s going to get beyond the strikers and get 10 goals a season, a high quality hold up striker and a winger of reall quality who’s going to create things and hang around the back post when the balls on the other side.

Someone else mentioned Forrester. Decent footballer but a bit lightweight which is probably why he doesn’t suit Evans and his style of football. Not sure if he would robust enough for league 2 and wages and having to pay a fee likely to rule him out anyway.

Well we’ve managed to accumulate 9 pages of names of players, mainly either currently with non-league clubs or having been released by Lg 1 or Lg 2 outfits. I suspect (and hope) that MJ’s targets will be from different sources.


62 Seasons following the Mariners from the Barrett Stand side.(apart from 2020-21)

Yes, he'll probably mainly concentrate on La Liga and Serie A (top 6 clubs I would hope).
