This is ridiculous. We have a ground that holds about 10000 people and we are not being allowed a reasonable allocation. I don't know if this has something to do with that football 'liason' officer or what but it needs sorting. It's stupid that this lad has to offer £50 for a ticket for a game when there will be about 5000 empty seats in the ground. We will have Town fans in the Lincoln end all over the place, it's stupid.

Absolutely pathetic, I'm disappointed with everyone involved. Let's have the truth as this is utter nonsense.

They'll probably bring about 600-800 I'd have thought so I say GTFC should make it all ticket for away fans and allocate them 200 tickets in the Osmond corner. The club should fight for the rights of the fans, I have a ticket but I'm not happy for my fellow Town fans.

If we win at Macclesfield and get a result against you i'd say over a 1000 but if we lose to you 600-800 is about right.

Its stupid if they are because more town fans definately does not equal fights, town fans going in with the lincoln fans probably does though, and it was the lincoln fans who were causing the trouble last year anyway

It is gonna be a joke when half the ground is empty.

However I expect Mansfield to be a bigger shambles.

Whilst I'm very sorry for anyone unfortunate enough not to have a ticket I don't understand where they would be able to fit many more Town fans without compromising the segregation rules. Further along that stand there are, apparently a lot of Lincoln season ticket holders. Now, if the boot was on the other foot and I was asked to vacate my seat to accommodate fans travelling to my ground once a year I wouldn't be very happy. I suppose you could hold Lincoln responsible for the very poor accommodation behind one of the goals but it is what it is.
I'm actually more interested in how their stewards/police intend on enforcing the "sit in the seat you're allocated" idea.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.

Their Directors should be sacked/on trial as it is the responsibility of the directors to make as much profit as possible for the share holders. It can not be that big a problem to give use more tickets.

I would have thought it was the police liason  officers duty to ensure the safety of the paying public, whether it is Lincoln or Grimsby people who are put at risk. Surely he should be pressing his counterpart at Lincoln to get common sense in play with their directors and avoid any potential problems. I remember being turfed out of my season ticket seat in the lower findus when we played Chelsea in the 80,s and only a few days ago against Buxton they shut our stand and we had to go in the pontoon. It is no hardship for one game a season. They have to look at the big picture, what are our wonderful constabulary going to do if 500 Grimsby fans turn up without tickets and start getting angry ? If they sell them tickets beforehand and let them in to Sincil Bank, they will earn money, add to the atmosphere, avoid extra police costs and potential laws suits ! Come on you control freaks, we are having the best year we have had for over a decade at Grimsby, and all we want to do is support our team, stop pisssssing us off and sort it
Rant over........for now.

bloody ridiculous from the start this ticket fiasco has been from queuing up after the tamworth game in freezing conditions when the ticket office could of easily just sold the ticket with the tamworth ticket prior to kick off.nowadays football clubs have no respect for the supporters, why cant they just move the segregation(them advertising banners) over 1 full block? it would solve the problem and even improve atmosphere for the home supporters as they would be congregated in a smaller area.that stand behind the goal surely doesnt house season ticket holders? so why arent the questions being answered for why town arent allowed in there?

You keep saying this but what makes you so sure you are right?  I'm assuming that Sincil Bank is private property and as such it is down to the discretion of the owners who they do and don't admit.  They have made it very clear through all available media what the reqirements are for admission.

I will sell my ticket if:

You have a fit wife
I can sleep with her

i dont give one Fu ck come saturday i am at my families house in Gimp land 4 of which ( Lincoln fans) i will be sat with, in the Lincoln end if you want MR DOBBS come nick or kick me out as i am willing to spend alot of cash to prove not just you but LCFC have no right under the FASF to remove any person without them causing ANY sort of trouble so sit there and behave !!! or B. BEING banned from any ground they have no ground to base this on so do not be put off !

I wont be put of and trust me IF GTFC had bollox they would close the Osmond and just kindly ask Gimp fans NYD just to be ball boys but that it too much to ask maybe ... maybe paper cut outs of people will make it seem like there is more than 10 !!

ANYWAY £100 for a ticket at Gimp land ! provide it sat next to the sharp object that wants to upset GTFC

Looks like I'm gonna be in the away end....  and when town score I fully expect to see a quarter of people in there celebrate by
leaping about like salmon trying to avoid a grizzly ( no ref or connection to avoidance of one PC Plodd running around
with a truncheon shouting oy ! you're nicked ! ) ha ha ha

lets see now.. what the attendance gonna be... and how many town fans will make up that number ? unofficial of course...

Don't see how they can refuse entry to Town fans. Who in their right mind would turn up to any away game, let alone a local derby, wearing full colours if they knew they were going to be sat in the home end?! And if you've not done anything wrong, they can't ban you from BP.

Still don't know why they can't give us that little stand behind the goal as well?! Probably only another 700 or so seats but its better than having that many Town fans scattered around the home end.

You keep saying this but what makes you so sure you are right?  I'm assuming that Sincil Bank is private property and as such it is down to the discretion of the owners who they do and don't admit.  They have made it very clear through all available media what the reqirements are for admission.

They could ask you to leave but it's still not breaking a law !
how would they know as long as you behave yourself ?

On the other hand, if you were a Lincoln supporter £100 would be a fair price.

Some clown on the Wimps vital website is saying that GTFC will issue banning orders to any Town fan found in the home stands.

Seems to me that it's time they re-opened St. Johns and put him in a padded cell.

I think it's against the terms and conditions of entry but I doubt is is illegal. Let's be honest, Lincoln are asking for it - there will be pockets of Town all over the ground and risks of violence associated with that (LTE are game and won't take kindly to Town all over the place, I don't think we would either).

GTFC as a private business can ban whoever they see fit but I doubt they would. I expect the club is as frustrated about this ticket fiasco as we are too.

How about Town Fans in the home ends group together. They might be able to eject the odd one or two, but they'd not do it to 50 or 500 odd. Especially if you all keep your nuts down.
Suggest left hand side of the Tracey West  and as close to Town fans in the COOP as poss.

Batch, Crombie, Moore K, Wiggington, Cumming, Waters, Bonnyman, Ford, Emson, Drinkell, Whymark. Love you all, You are the reason I'm on here. You've had help from Todd, Handyside, Futcher P, Groves, Mendonca, Macca etc etc etc. Up The Mariners!!!!!!!!!

Why doesn't everyone who's planning on going in the home end go in the shite stand behind the goal? There's no home fans in there to bother, its close to the Town end and so long as you're not daft you won't get chucked out. Then you can join in the celebrations at the final whistle cause who cares if you get chucked out then?

It's not illegal, but you could be removed.  You'll be on private property, so they can ask you to leave regardless of if you're causing trouble or not.  Somewhere on the ticket / in the ticket office will be a statement along the lines of 'management reserve the right to refuse admission' which gives them grounds to remove you if they want.

Yeah I know but can you order online for the stand behind the goal where Town fans were last year? Would seem the most sensible place for icognito GTFC fans to head.

I had a quick look on their website and it's called the Gocar Stand on the picture of the ground but you cant select the Gocar stand on the purchase bit.

https://www.medocmall.co.uk/cgi-bin/live/ticketing.pl?site=theclubshop.lincoln-tickets

I don't have a Grimsby area address so reckon I should be able to purchase without a problem.

Just been on the Gimps ticket site, still have 2075 tickets to sell in 3 stands, but does not say how many are left in the stand behind the goal.

Really? So....even allowing for say 500 seats for segregation, 1750 we've got so say 2250...plus 2075 = 4300 give or take....take from 9500 capacity and that means they've sold 5000 home tickets? Or have I missed something?

I understand people are desperate to get to this game even if it's in the home end but my experience of this (at the 5-0 debacle under Slade) was awful. I was sat with lincoln supporting mates who even felt sorry for me when the fourth went in before half time. I had to stand for every Lincoln goal (didn't clap) and to endure our abject shitness without the release a few well aiming "SORT IT OUT TOWN" with a few bits of Anglo Saxon thrown in would bring.

Awful day not just ruined by the result but my seating arrangements that meant I couldn't shout and swear at Town to my heart's content.

That I can't believe, they've not had more than 3000 home fans for any game yet this season.

That I can't believe, they've not had more than 3000 home fans for any game yet this season.

That's what I though, either that or about 2000 town fans hav got home end tickets

Not a prayer they've shifted 5000 home tickets, that has to include our allocation as well. They wouldn't have sold that many even if it was a stub game had they gone through in the cup. Or as someone said, may be more town fans have got tickets in the home end than we think. Must admit, everyone i've spoken to, ticket or not is going.

How embarrassing would it be if the increase in home fans was due to all the Mariners in their stands.

Oh how we'd laugh.

It's common knowledge now that more than a few will be in the Lincoln stands and as long as they keep it on the low they should be ok.  Having said that, I can see total carnage with certain types of our following not caring about keeping it on the low.  I just think it's a sad state of affairs when they couldn't give us an extra 500-1000 tickets.

To be fair, most of the police do not want to be their, if you ask for directions to a pub or a shop, they never seem to know because they are from Gainsborough or somewhere else.

So Town fans not allowed in Lincoln End? So if I win two tickets on Radio Lincolnshire will I get arrested if I use them?

we are in their end behind the goal 4 of us,my uncle lives there and got us the tickets a while back, this happens when we  were told town would get less than 2000 tickets, can only see problems tbh if this is not looked  at. hopefully people can remember to be civilised and understand this is just another 3 points at the end of the day.

They dont want to be there? Getting overtime, weekend rate, wstcjing derby football for free? My heart bleeds purple p1ss!

Can only sense trouble due to ticket issue got my ticket for away end but so daft when clubs like us and Lincoln need to make as much money as possible from these derby games

Have followed Town for all my life during the ups and downs.

My son plays for school of excellence which is so well run without any funding and can see some future stars in the lower age teams.

Read this, it does not make sense! To get a bigger attendance apparently they need more Lincoln fans not more Grimsby ones! Bu££sh1t! What a tin pot club.

balderdash! What regulation states what team you support determines what seat you can sit in? What if you don't support either team and you are happily watching the game,  are you breaking any regulations ?

Are we any closer to getting promoted since Hurst has been here? No

Has he been given time to achieve promotion by the chairman and fans? Yes

This is a complete load of bollox, its another example of football fans being treated like 3rd class citizens.

I wonder what the police are doing about the blatant threats of disorder from the lincoln forum. . . "the sincil drain will be full of codheads" etc

It'll probably be the same bunch of lads who attacked a 71 year old man last season.

Can someone explain to the straw chewing goons who were waiting over the bridge that our football hooligans aren't old men with women, kids or other old people.

As for the bigger club debate, historically our gates have been bigger than theirs when in the same league and we travel in bigger numbers than them.  They can only cope with 1,700 fans yet they only bring 700 to 1,000 here.  The biggest laugh is they are calling smaller clubs yet get all defensive when the tables are turned.  They say we aren't rivals but you watch them if they win, they will cum in their panties, especially Aryan

Sounds like there will be more Town than Gimps in most areas of the ground, so eject the Gimps as they will be in the minority. DON'T PANIC - IT'S ONLY LINCOLN. LOL
