I don't think there's much wrong with a player being pissed off with being subbed; you don't expect a player to be happy, especially if it's happened so early. Obviously what's happened since I've no idea.

He prob retweeted it for the 'get wasted' bit.

After all it is his Birthday

i would've been annoyed as well. getting taken off while the likes of elding get to stay on and do sod all. good on the lad for showing some passion.

I have not read anything on Twitter,

BUT

If the lad was drunk off with being taken off after 20mins , I can understand his frustration,

He will mature and realise it was not about him but changing the formation,

On top of every thing else it was his bithday, which made it even more disapointing for him,

He will put this behind him and become a very important player for us,

Anyone would be frustrated, but he's got to grow up and realise how lucky he is, just keep quiet and carry on working hard. Gobbing off could put him in the bad books, if he stops getting games, especially at a club like this where we can't afford to give many second chances to players, that'll be it, playing for grimsby borough next season. First storming off like a mardy teenager and then retweeting a load of tweets that criticized the managers decision (even though the tactical change was working fantastically until disley took a knock) is just so disrespectful to the managers, to the club, to the fans and even just anyone who likes football. Because playing for grimsby cmon THATS THE DREAM, I just can't empathise with his mindset. And if you defend it you'll probably just make him worse.

He's a teenager on approx minimum wage playing for a non-league club.

If that is his dream, then he's not very ambitious.

You can't really blame Southwell for being frustrated  he payed the price for team selection  of the two clueless clowns that are our team managers  that were well out thought by the kiddie manager
