We had two great guys stay with us for the weekend of the last Wembley game vs MK Dons - a father and son from Seattle - really great guys and passionate about the team - Eric was the son, sorry, forgot the father's name.
That'll be GK off the Grimmy I assume.

Not in the USA but just moved to Calgary Canada (previous 4 years in the Cayman Islands hence Cayman Mariner).
I enjoy living in Canada but it gets bloody cold in Calgary. Its great for the winter sports though and I like the fact that from our apartment I can see the Ski Jump that Eddie the Eagle Edwards made his name on during the Olympics in the 80's.
For the older posters, I used to post on the old Electronic Fishcake as Kiwi Mariner as I was living in New Zealand for a spell.

Great city! Have they made you a Flames fan yet? If not, you soon will be... you have no choice, it's a religion. I went to the Heritage Classic (outdoor hockey game in McMahon Stadium) there last February... was cold as intercourse, but it was fun to see the Flames kick the shite out of Montreal. Not sure if you are a hiker/scrambler/mountaineer, but there are some awesome places to go just west of the city. Kananaskis Country is nice, and if you climb there is a nice spot just south of Canmore that has some insane sport climbs. Canmore might just be the greatest little place on earth.

Yeah I do love this city and yes I have been to see a few Flames games and Ive enjoyed them and you are spot on with the religion comment. They've been pretty inconsistent this season though - win one then lose one and looks like they have just missed out on the play-offs. Sort of reminded me of Town over the last few years so I felt at home I guess. And of course its always good to see any team with even remote links to the French get a spanking. Have done loads of hiking since we got out here and there are so many spectacular places to visit, and have just started Cross-Country Skiing out at Canmore. They have a big Nordic Sports Center there with excellent facilities. Canmore really is a special place, and of course Banff and Lake Louise are too and are right next door but my favourite place is Lake Minnewanka - or Lake Small Tosser as I like to phrase it. The name of that place always makes me laugh. Give me a shout if you're ever back up this way fella and we can grab a couple of beers and chat about the Mariners

Really enjoyed it in Tampa. Massive win in the Casino, then on to St Petersburg for the Dali museum and beaches. I spent a couple of weeks cruising around in a Mustang. Good times. Like I say, I get to work in the states occasionally, but a permanent move seems out of the question unless the company sponsor me. Or I met a nice American girl, which is far more likely

Yeah I have, my missus best mate is from Toronto and they used to live there so we took a trip down there(if you ever go to Toronto is on the way to Niagra falls) and stopped for a Maccy D's and checked it out. Was a pretty little town to be fair, some lovely houses and a pretty nice area - none of the locals recognised the Town top though.

Is there not a Town called Lincoln on the same road going towards the falls? UTMM
