I’m absolutely flabbergasted that you can suggest if Henderson was on the bench he should have come on, I can’t see how you can substantiate that.

It's a ridiculous suggestion.
Italy missed two penalties.
Any reasonable side would have seen it out.
Question the substitutions but trying to single out the keeper is ludicrous.
Hope the three lads who missed stay off social media for a good while now.

Henderson is notably good at saving penalties. Pickford did well, but if you can bring on a specialist penalty taker to increase your chances of getting +1 in a penalty shoot-out, it makes more sense to bring on a specialist penalty-saver to potentially make it -2 or -3 goals. Pickford did very well on the night and saved a couple, but it's not madness to think bringing on a keeper with a better record with penalties might be worthwhile. Very easy to substantiate.

The biggest issue was that the 3 players to miss a penalty were all substitutes. I don't envy any of them as I used to bloody well hate taking a penalty. I'd score a lot more shots from 20 yards than 12.

What is ludicrous is that you think I singled out the keeper, who I said did well on the night!

BBC said Kane did not have one touch in the penalty area in 120 mins.  Shocked.

How can Chiellini at 36 has  the energy to get on our goal line?

You’re only suggesting it because Henderson played a few games for Town. How many penalties has Henderson saved in his career?

But would have substituted him for Henderson if available?
It's Mr Hindsight I believe.

Almost 50% of the ones he has faced. The fact that he once played for town for a bit is neither here nor there. After tonight (where he did very well), Pickford has saved approximately 25% of the penalties he has faced.
