Baggio missed the target, as did Baresi.

Van Basten’s was saved and Maradona’s was like a pass back.

But to say it’s inexcusable to hit the post and miss by 3 inches with a high pressure penalty is ridiculous.

Every footballer misses penalties.

Well in that case I reckon Denmark have a claim for the semi as Smeichel may have held onto Kane's penalty without the laser shine!
