Conoco is an American company and would have little interest in us.

and surely that's exactly why the Takover panel were looking at the situation in the first place , because there was a strong suspicion that P & F were acting together, without P taking on the legal and financial responsibilities he should have done by being the majority shareholder.
Id be amazed if neither knew of these responsibilities but maybe it suited both agendas for the status quo to be maintained? their pact has been disrupted by the takeover panel sniffing around and suddenly they've got to think of  a planB
just incredible how this club manages to lurch from crisis to crisis in an ever descending spiral. certainly i think its true to say that there's stuff happening behind the scenes of which we are blissfully or worryingly unaware

If we would have had a new stadium guess what it would have been called   fancy not knowing that

I don't pretend to know very much about these things but aren't the Takeover Panel alerted as a matter of routine whenever share transactions greater than £100,000 take place?

I did know that but Conoco was investing in the stadium for sponsorship reasons and not the club.
