It will now be down to their agents as much as it is the club to move them on. Haven’t seen enough of Scannell to be honest to make a judgment of him in a Town shirt but if he’s retained he must have a decent attitude and work rate otherwise Hurst would get rid. Fully fit he’d be an asset. I would imagine Hurst is giving him a chance to get himself into shape and if he doesn’t he’ll be frozen out like the others.

From the outside it doesn't look great. He's also an A-Licence coach I think and was caretaker at Crawley so managers might see him as a threat to their job. Why we gave a 35 year old bloke who hadn't played for months an 18 month deal I will never know.

Same with Idehan, thought we'd loan him out maybe on the fringes of the subs bench. A little shocked Scannell isn't on there , with spending nearly the entire season on Dave Moores table and probably being on a fair wack he'd be listed. I don't mind Roy Keane making £60,000 a week. I was making the same when I was playing.
