Jackson Jnr seems like a decent guy but his reputation was enhanced last season by not playing.  Did well as a sub a couple of times but didn't follow it up.  Good to see Hurst is setting a high bar for next season.

Jackson Jnr did well in a couple of sub appearances. But that's it. On the rare occasion he was given a start he offered virtually nothing. The fact that the much maligned and currently unemployed Matt Green was generally used ahead of him by Hurst would suggest that despite the fact Jackson Jnr seems like a lovely fella he didn't show anything in training that would make him worth keeping.

Don't get the love for Jackson. He's tosh.

Soon as we signed Sousa, he was history.

Williams out of that lot is the only one with anything about him, but not consistent enough. Think his injuries have taken their toll.

This.

Hurst will have literally seen hour upon hour in training.
Hope he gets fixed up though as his attitude far outshines that of....... I have genuinely already forgotten the heabbutting pratt's name.

Keeping scannell isn't interesting he hasn't put in half a season for 4 yrs he isn't suddenly going to be fit now, a complete waste of a squad place.

The fact that Hurst thinks he can get a player out of Scannell is interesting. Might work. Might not. I trust Hurst’s judgement thought and if he’s right…

Well at least we might see some movement out soon. When Ollie signed Gibson, Sisay and IJJ, he said their three wages were less than the outgoing Cardwell and Akheem Rose, so it shouldn't be too expensive for other clubs to take on those players with a like for like wage that they were on here

Good point WBJ. Mind you, it was Holloway that said it

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

If Holloway walked in to a room soaked through and told me it was raining outside, I'd still check for myself.

As lovely a bloke Ira was, whenever I saw him play (via I follow) he didn't look like a pro footballer. Sorry to say. I genuinely hope he finds himself a club but I really can't see a footballer in him to be honest.

Our fans sure do have a staggeringly consistent habit of rating shite. Of all the decent players to not be rated by us, we’re losing sleep on Ira Jackson because he was sound in an interview once.

Idehen is another one, quite how on earth anybody saw his car crash cameos last season and feel he’s worth keeping is absolutely beyond me.

Unnecessarily harsh.

But absolutely bang on.
