One minute he’s ranting that he has no hesitation in getting rid of long-standing players, then says he wants a new goalie, then says he loves Macca and wants a new goalie coach instead. Absolutely crackers. Up The Mariners!

Evidently, if not unanimous, those calling for his head are understandably mounting. My worry is however that with the off the field fiasco that's currently underway, this couldn't be a worse time to try and appoint a new manager. Who on earth would want it under present circumstances? If anything though, the pressure is surely mounting on Fenty to relinquish control. He needs to realise quickly that failure to do so will almost certainly consign us to the non-league abyss for a second time. And I'm by no means convinced we'd be back anytime soon. A smooth sea never made a skillful mariner.
