Colchester losing - best hope we can stay up and sign on a new team

And hopefully a new manager as well as a new head of recruitment.

No chance would I be risking Rose or Vernam in this in a game that we’ve lost.

The pitch is dreadful and cutting up massively, it's exactly the type of surface you wouldn't want to risk a half fit player on. That being said I don't think we've lost yet, we've gifted them two goals and been allowed to have a lot of possession. It's a shame Eisa isn't on the bench, I'd definitely have chucked him on at half time in these circumstances.

Most possession (again) at 58% but doing nothing with it.  Opposing teams don’t need to do much to score with less time on the ball.  Sutton scoring on HT continues their good recent form.  Come on Salford.

(Hunt and Amos back in York team.  The Shop and Mclaughlin come into the team.  Chesterfield score early).

If Paul Hurst had still been in charge - Town would not have been close to relegation.
That decision is brinksmanship by owners that don’t understand manager/ player relationships.

Hope we score 3 more than Barrow in the second half.

I was including the management as part of the team - for clarity

That was a good little move. Shows what we can do when we string a few passes together quickly.

Salford 1-1 Sutton

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”
