I believe he was 30 when he signed for us. With a successful and long career in the EFL behind him. An absolute great bloke, gave his absolute all for us absolutely all of the time. He scored lots of important goals for us, did the defensive stuff many don't recognise off the ball and led by example. Also, I serve fish to his mum and dad and they are good people ha.

And yet you think that 'no way' will we stay up even with 42 points to play for? In the context of illnesses and a car crash leaving two players with whiplash I thought the squad battled well. It will be a close run thing I grant you but you were wanting to express your despair even before reaching for your firestick or whatever. More fool me for driving to places like Accrington and Morecambe to add vital away support.

I am still unimpressed with Artell but I believe we can just survive if we keep supporting the players.

I'm sure you'll be at BP next week though.

Some people can’t get to games.

I don’t believe we’ll stay up, those like yourself who go H&A away will end up short changed again.

Well yeah, nice one, but the fact is they’ve been in league one the last few seasons and we’ve been in non league. Also, they’re doing loads better than us this season.

I understand that very well. For many years I was too busy working, raising kids and paying a mortgage to have much disposable income. The very fact that being relegated could be terminal for Town as an EFL team means that every sinew must be strained by players, staff and supporters THIS season.

I just find mourning at the bedside and yelling for morphine when there is still a strong heartbeat somewhat defeatist. Wiggy has gone full Dignitas.
