Did not hear anything about Hurst but the players did not like Doig. A bit of a bully was the players dislike of him. My info came from our postman at the time who was a season ticket holder Who had a mate who was in the squad. There was an interview with Kieran Dyer (who was on the Ipswich coaching staff during Hurst and Doig’s brief reign) recently, and he spoke very well of both of them. Can’t find a link but it was posted on here. A smooth sea never made a skillful mariner.

With these 2 I'm just not sure .also seems to me there may be a hyrachie at the club with certain players. Is this normal ?  im just not sure. I just feel this runs deeper than Hursts mangament style and decisions.
