I know what you mean but last season we beat man City u21s with a side that wasn't our first 11. I believe simmonds, a player sent back as not good enough for our squad, scored against them. Did the City u21s progress in the tournament, I genuinely don't know.

They are no doubt a very talented set of young players but they are hardly invincible and certainly not with 10 men they aren't.

I mean he has scored 13 entire goals in his 165 game professional career, i'm not entirely sure what we expected from him.
