Does anybody know how long it is , it has always been stated as 'long term ' .

Good that we/he has the stability

Unlike last time with a rolling contract ,small  compensation and a brief 'thank you for services rendered'.

Signed new improved contract last September but doesn't go into detail....

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Dare I say the rolling contract is quite clever and the only thing from the past I still think was good at the time.

Judging by the rumours doing the rounds it'll be paid up soon...Rotherham bound some seem to be saying, no idea how true that is btw

Rotherham have a manager who is currently on course to keep them in the Championship. I struggle to see where Hurst fits into that equation.

If Rotherham stay up , no chance. If they go down possibly? Not worth worrying about really as I have faith in AP and JS to get the recruitment spot on

I will start worrying about Hurst's future if we finish midtable the next 2 seasons and it looks like he can't take us any further or we get promoted to League 1, as I think he would see that as a good time to jump ship.

It will keep coming up won’t it. I’d be amazed if he left a really secure job for a yo-yo club. I know he played for them for most of his career but I think he said recently he was a Wednesday supporter, if it ever came his way which at this stage I can’t see why it would that’s a job I doubt he’d turn down
