I think we need to have one of our wide players as a more creative/technical player. Clifton and Kiernan are both runners and might be a better bet when we don't have as much possession and counter attack teams. But for me one of them should give way for a player with more ability on the ball. Obviously Clifton would be the one to keep on out of the two.


I’d agree, our wide men work hard and do contribute but as wide men going forward they’re at times almost technically inept.

Kiernan and Sousa are one in the same to me…

Ref is absolutely garbage. Booked Efete for a tackle where he cleanly won the ball in the first half and is now letting Colchester get away without a caution for hauling Richardson down on the counter.

Also taylors doing a good job with flick ons and hold up play being let down a bit by those around him really

On Tuesday both full backs tucked in and left wide players time and space to control and look up. We tend to leave wingers unmarked as if to say go on then cross it, because we can defend crosses all day.

Would be amazed if Hurst brings him on with the scores level. Can only see him getting 10 minutes max if Colchester go ahead.
