Same as Tuesday - pretty rubbish.  We just don’t seem to threaten at all.

How Kiernan manages to make the 11 each week is beyond me.  Hurst obviously plays him because he does a lot of running about, but absolutely zero end product.

Efete has lost his mojo or league too is too tough for him.

To be quite honest I don't think Efete is that good a defender. Several times against Gillingham he was either out of position or ball watching. I prefer Cropper as a defender but he's not quite as good as Efete going forward. His plus is that amazing throw which is just as good as a cross or a corner.

Efete has been atrocious again, he’s not coping with this step up and given Cropper was a big part of our play-off campaign, he has to come in.

We’ve offered very little again, we’re solid enough but we’ve only got one player on the pitch genuinely capable of scaring teams in Richardson

You say that, yet we’re not conceding. His job first and foremost is defending. He’s doing that

Cut and paste from Tuesday night I am afraid. Pretty poor passing again in the final third. Its not really hard to see why Keirnan was surplus to requirements at Walsall despite honest endeavour - for me there are better options on the bench. Bit more quality and we can win this.

The two down our right are again dross, most of there threat has come from that side.
Much like Tuesday Richardson our most likely, CBs good again.
Holohan looks better with Hunt in there, Harry has been Harry.
Need changes for the second half.

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

He looks our weakest defender as well though, so if you’re hampering us going forward and you’re often out of position defensively, what exactly are you offering?

Very flat and difficult to watch. Not much else worth watching at the moment except perhaps Lincoln, Mansfield or Barcelona on La Liga HD.
I'll give Grimsby another 10 minutes to wake up!

Disagree on our weakest. His pace gives us something the other 3 dont.

Going forward he looks devoid of confidence, i was at Orient, and he was playing like a right winger, since then attacking wise he’s gone backwards

Don't see what Kiernan offers at all. Works hard to get back defensively but he's very poor on the ball. Don't like to be too critical but he appears to be a downgrade on Sousa IMO.

I think we need to have one of our wide players as a more creative/technical player. Clifton and Kiernan are both runners and might be a better bet when we don't have as much possession and counter attack teams. But for me one of them should give way for a player with more ability on the ball. Obviously Clifton would be the one to keep on out of the two.
