Bromsgrove had 775 fans for their FAC game last Sat.  Against Welwyn Garden City (they won 1-0).

Looks like plenty of room if their capacity is 3,500.

(The game last Sat was stopped for 23 mins after 2 serious injuries to players following a 50/50 clash).

I wouldn’t be too sure about there being plenty of room. They got 3,300 for the FA Vase semi-final against Cleethorpes Town in 2017. I imagine this will be just as a big a game for them.

think you're looking at the wrong town! there's loads of boozers in the high Street and on Birmingham Road

http://whatpub.com/search?q=bromsgrove&t=ft&p=1&home=1  there's about 20 on here for starters

(liking the look of the Little Ale House, which seems to have good reviews)

I lived there until a year ago! Calling it a high street would be a stretch. There are places to drink but nowhere great, more old-mans pubs as much as anything.

Potential for beating our record for the most goals we've ever scored in a game?

Wonder if Hursty will mix it up a bit for this one 🤔.

Odd comment....

I'd take a scratchy 1-0 right now. Potential banana skin of a game.

They will fancy a crack at us on their own patch.

Handy draws for all the so-called 'top' NL sides, all drawing lower opposition and avoiding each other

The standard of football isn’t great at that level (as you’d probably expect). I do freelance reporting occasionally for some West Midlands based teams in that division including Redditch (who lost something like 20 games in a row before the season was curtailed!) and Stourbridge, and there’s a vast difference between it and the national league (again no surprise!).

As others have said though, anything can happen in a game of football so we need to go in with the right mentality.

Hurst will be looking for a good FA Cup run.

Unlike the Trophy games , it will pay to play a strong team to win.

Subs can always get minutes if any cup game proves easier than thought.

Give every opponent respect but play to win.

No banana skins allowed !!

That sounds good to me. 😁

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.
