Just seen footage of Scannell in full training,, he'd be a Billy bonus if available, plus with Revan and Bapaga we still have some pace down the wings if Sousa doesn't make it
Think it'll be a game where Dover sit 10 men behind the ball and hope to take us with a lucky 1-0.
These are the games I always hated last time we were down here tbh..

If the roads are that bad and there is a petrol shortage, can’t the Dover fans simply come by boat?😏

Probably be quicker

Almost another 6,000 shifted, which is remarkable on the back of two slightly sobering results and for a fixture which isn’t overly exciting on paper. If we can maintain momentum we should be looking at a total sellout for the Notts County game at the end of the month.

But where are the extra thousands - under the last owner we averaged 5,884 once (in the [one and only] Championship season under that regime)...

...what is remarkable is that 1878 have built enough goodwill and momentum to get our home fans numbers back to the level last seen in the Championship nearly 20 years ago, in just two months, with the club 3 leagues below that level.

Great that they've opened the Osmond a bit earlier so people don't have to bother with the restricted view seats. On Notts they really should open for booking now. Other clubs restrict our away support - let's restrict Notts to part of Osmond with part for Town fans.

If Sears is going to be given a chance, surely this is the game to do it? I completely agree that Dover will be harder to break down then we think but there goals scored record suggests there not going to be too expansive. This would be the perfect game to bed him in and show what he can do.

I don't recall us playing at Notts with Meadow Lane even half full of home fans so allocating the whole side to away fans is not material to home fan numbers...

true, but they've always allowed us extra numbers, which if we restrict their allocation, they in turn will do to us

I doubt we will get any of the Osmond for Notts County. Dover isn't likely to present a security risk but Notts probably does. If that's the case, may as well give them full allocation and if they sell it, more money for us.

If we treat them poor, we will probably get similar treatment for the return fixture.

I’m convinced the accessibility and convenience the e-ticketing provides must be helping lift the numbers.
