Couldn’t go anywhere in the EFL for another couple of months (or Wrexham for that matter), so can only imagine his agent was on the blower touting his wares for another couple of grand a week on his package. Must be on Mullin-esque wages. Like with Wrexham though, I’m still not sure that having a squad with a handful of players on upper-League One wages alongside players earning tens of thousands of year less is a great thing though. Individually, a great player for this level - not disputing that. A smooth sea never made a skillful mariner.

That's why we are seeing 3 year deals, as players already contracted with not count. Thats why its important to get out of the National League at the first attempt, likes of Wrexham, Stockport, Notts County, Chesterfield & Bromley know that next season its going to be a bit more of a level playing field.
