They had a strong end to last season, and know there division better than we do. They have, on paper, a more effective strike force. They are more fancied than us to win the league. They haven’t had to isolate for 10 days and had their first game of the season postponed. Therefore they started tonight with greater match fitness than us. I’m not being unambitious, really I’m not, but in the context of the above I do not understand why so many fans are getting their knickers in a twist about this.
