I thought that you would have said ‘just not lest ye be judged’ 😉
I’d go with, judge the action not the person, but it’s very hard to do in practice.
We all fall short of perfection Kingston. Its why I love sport especially boxing and then football. As others who have reached the top of their sports in various domains say the perfect athlete doesn't exist and there is always room for improvement.
To be fair I don't find this site degrading. I remember on the grim outlook when I was alot younger, nieve and somewhat immature I used to get shot down for posts I used to do. I left gtfc forums for a short while because of it... But I find the fishy has a mix bag of everything, although i do miss a few posters who aren't here anymore
Some great names and great memories on this thread, I was about occasionally on the ElectronicFishcake and Grim Outlook...some of those days out on other teams boards were great fun...some wonderful people have been met through the website mentioned, such a shame to see the state of the club now...the first Fishy meet up in the Imp was a great day/night.
Wasn't there a Canadian guy who began as a victim of an invasion and ended up posting regularly?....Kev perhaps?
That was my old mate from school Kev Blyth
He and I were in touch regularly after I spotted him on the GO getting on for 15 years ago
He emigrated to Canada with his family after we'd left school and to find him on the site years later was brilliant
Not heard from him since just after Xmas.... he's had some health issues so even though he has a Facebook account he's taken himself off there for a while but hope to pick up again with him soon
I remember Kev Blyth on Grim Outlook. Somebody posting in this country once complained about the cold weather and snow. Kev said there was 12 foot of snow outside his house and sometimes minus 30 degrees. (He did not recommend anyone emigrating to Canada).
Wonder how Kev is doing. Always seemed like a nice bloke.
Through the door there came familiar laughter, I saw your face and heard you call my name. Oh my friend we're older but no wiser, For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

He's had some health issues these past few years KM
I'll maybe try his sons soon to ask how he's doing - if he wants to engage then all well and good but I also respect him not wanting to carry on with any social media
As I said in an earlier post I was in touch up to the New Year but he took himself off FB just after that
Maybe he was just pre-occupied with shoveling all that snow in those dark winter months

Can see how it might get you down. Hope he’s alright.
