When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

Good win for Town that! I've only just seen the result.

I clicked on this Crawley match thread and was taken to page 1. Knowing the result and how we played, I had to laugh. Can I suggest everyone scrolls back to the first page of this thread and see how negative each poster was. Laughable

Same here. 🤭

Watched an old war film.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

That result means the players need next Saturday off as a reward.

Good win for Town, 20 mins either side of half time we looked half decent and that extra bit of experience made the difference I reckon.

Haven't read this entire thread. Just looked at the first couple of pages and couldn't read any more of it.

We lost 0-5 in the last game, were terrible, and poster after poster on here going crazy cos Holloway made several changes for tonight.

Bloody hell! Well done. Optimism like that. You deserved it 😆

I just thought after we went one down we showed fight and it never looked like we would collapse like we have been doing.

All the lads gave 100% cant pick a MOM

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Great result after saturday & the players deserve great credit could have easily sunk after early goal but instead dug in got back into it & then went on & saw the game out pretty comfortably i thought , special mentions hewitt rose as a pair worked there nuts off , waterfall led the back line superbly &macca when called upon back to best , 4-4-2 works if all willing to graft
