Hmmm. Well, the Bank of England reckons Brexit has cost the UK around £80 billion so far:

https://www.theguardian.com/bu.....-england-rate-setter

If even half way right, that's a substantial amount. Yeah, I know, nobody believes experts etc. There must certainly have been some reason why we've had the lower growth than the EU since 2016...

The Conservatives being in power is my guess

I just hope that those who voted out are the first to lose their jobs when the inevitable lay-offs happen.

Irony is that this is a thread about a Swedish player who probably wouldn't meet the criteria to sign for us if we were out.

How despicable. So, in order to prove yourself right, you will sacrifice anyone else's lively hood. What a disgusting comment regardless of your Brexit position.

Eh? It's a Guardian story about a Bank of England report, not an opinion piece.

If you think the Bank of England is left-wing or liberal, you're barking up the wrong tree.

As I'm sure our Swedish defenders could tell you (<-- keeping it on topic  )

As I was just too young to be involved in the original vote to join back in the seventies, I was just wondering if parliament ( e.g, the MP's) had all these discussions/ arguments about the joining deal. Some must have thought we were giving up too many rights.

Back to Ohman,

Would everybody please stop saying how good he is let it be our secret,

We do not want bigger clubs coming in and taking him away.

Unfortunately it will probably be the only way some leavers come to realise that they hadn't a clue what they were voting for.

He's not the only good player we've got Pete. Two pretty decent centre backs played for the ressies today.
