Great game last night.Feel sorry for the Spanish. Love the way Isco plays eg such a technical player. As for Ronaldo=magic

The speed at which the Spanish control the ball and release to a team mate is incredible. Several times a player who appeared to have opponents up really close was able to move the ball on instantly. The Portuguese just couldn't get possession no matter how closely they marked them. A joy to watch.

Reminded me of Buckley era Town at their best!

I fancy Brazil though to win it.With Neymar in your squad you have like 3 players in one. Neymar is my favourite player of the world cup but probably not as good as Messi and Ronaldo in that order

After watching that game England won't get a sniff. Spain were on a different planet to our lads.

Aquero scores a well taken goal to give the Argies the lead against Iceland.

Iceland level 5 minutes later (1-1), the Argies look good up front but shocking at the back so far.

When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

The attacking options Argentina have are quite scary  (Higuain and Dybala on the bench, Icardi not even in the squad) but their defence features Man Utd's 5th choice centre back!

Cheating gets the Argies.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Messi has done very little first half but we all know he can change a game in a split second.

G'wan Iceland. Had a soft spot for them since the Euro's and they qualified for this pretty easily. Fancy them getting something here.
